The staff where very friendly and helpful, mostly good English. The breakfast each moring was very good, they should do the same for a dinner buffet as the Resturant menu and places near by are to pricey! The room was very clean but rather small. The bed was very comfortable, they need to offer more variety on the television ( English, movies, sport, cable programs. They didn't have dvd player or radio, only apple hook up. I liked local bus, easy walk to train station and shopping centre.I Don't agree with charging extra %10 on stay!
There was very loud noise in bathroom ceiling, changed room but it was similar 1 floor down? Shower is all glass which leaks into bathroom when taking shower. There pool and business centre where not open? There lobby is ver small. They should have information on all local Resturants with menu.s, types of food, prices, etc. They need to have better maps of area and places to go see and visit, there map was very small and hard to use. Price could be a little lower when staying for a week or more.

We are a budget-traveling family, but I usually splurge on the first 1-2 nights, when we need to adjust to a new place. The best value I found for this was the brand new Dorsett Regency location in Kwun Tong. The hotel is located in what most tourists would consider an out-of-the-way part of Hong Kong (mark my words, though: It is just as crowded and bustling as anywhere in HK). The Kwun Tong MTR station is located about seven minutes' walk from the hotel, in a very nice, family-friendly shopping mall called APM (Millenium City 5) with a cheap food court. A few minutes in the opposite direction is Victoria Harbor and a lovely promenade. In addition to the mall, there are numerous convenience stores and places to exchange currency (with much better HKD rates than you will likely receive in your country of origin). The hotel was a pleasant surprise. It has a garishly lit lobby that looks like Justin Timberlake's "Rock Your Body" video, but the rooms and the restaurant are understated and attractive. The beds and pillows are high-quality, and the large flat-screen TVs can pull in Nat Geo, Discovery, kid's channels, and other programs in at least six languages. We were consistently impressed with the hotel staff, who went well out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable and welcome in both the hotel and Hong Kong. The hotel offers a convenient, free shuttle to the Kwun Tong Station. The buffet breakfast was fun and kid-friendly; there were omelettes, pancakes, salad, yogurt, and pastries, but also Chinese items like egg rolls and dim sum. One more thing for parents: There is a large park with a cool playground in the apartment complex on the way to the bay (sorry, blanking on the name of it).
Aside from what I mentioned above, there is not much to see in the very business-centric area, and you should expect a 10-14 stop MTR ride to reach more touristy areas like Tsim Sha Tsui and Central (unless you take the free shuttle). It's also a bit remote from the airport, and their airport shuttle does not operate after midnight, which we did not know until after we booked. As a result, we had to spend 35 USD on a 40-minute taxi ride. This should not be an issue with most travelers, of course. My only complaint about the hotel itself is in the design: The rooms have corner windows with two big panes of glass at 90 degree angles. This creates a cool effect when you look out at the view, but the room immediately next to you has the same feature. As a result, you can plainly see into the next room, and those people can see into yours. You have to close one of the curtains to prevent people seeing into your room, thus ruining part of the awesome view. It's a silly architectural oversight, and one that unfortunately takes away from your sense of privacy. Otherwise, though, this hotel was a phenomenal value.

Good location, despite being located on a back street. It is an upcoming but safe area. The nearest MTR station 8 minutes away. Also it is a few minutes from the boat, so it is easy to go accross to the island.

During my stay at Dorsett, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly and professional staff. They were always polite and went out of their way to help us. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of tasty options. One of the highlights was the complimentary smartphone provided by the hotel, which allowed us to make free calls to the UK and tether the internet to our own phones.
There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like about our stay! 😊

The rooms at this hotel were beautifully decorated, with crystal pendant lights and bedside lamps that gave a warm and cozy touch. The big windows in the rooms allowed for plenty of natural light, creating a bright and airy ambiance. The bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable, with four big pillows that provided a great night's sleep. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the Kwun Tong MTR, making it easy to explore the city.
One downside of this hotel was that the pool, although nice for laps, was in the shade all day due to the surrounding buildings. This meant that even the sun lounge chairs were not able to enjoy the sunlight.

It is a great value property located in Kowloon district near to the main tourist areas, many shops and local restaurant around and the downtown of Kowloon east. The rooms here are fully-equipped and neat with view. The location is easy and decent, on the harbour.

The hotel is great. Excellent view from the bedroom, tasteful decoration, and helpful staff. The breakfast is terrific and there is wi-fi in the entire hotel, including the room. I have absolutely no complains about it. When I made the reservation there was no reviews yet, since the hotel is brand new, and I was surprise about the location low score. It is not in the heart of hong kong, but it's very ok. There is a cafe right in front, lots of stores and things around, and a shopping mall a couple of blocks from there. Besides, there is a hotel van that takes to the main station every hour. Very convenient.
